GIN2026 Annual Conference

The next Guidelines International Network (GIN) Annual Conference will take place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Malaysia, and is organised in collaboration with the Malaysian Ministry of Health.

GIN2026 will bring together leading researchers, methodologists, clinicians, public health experts, patient representatives and policymakers from across the globe to share knowledge, exchange ideas and explore the latest developments in public health and clinical guideline development, adaptation and implementation.

As in previous years, INGUIDE will be deliver in‑person courses at the GIN Conference.

Courses include:

Course 1: Certified Guideline Panel Member

Guideline Panel Simulation Course (extension to Course 1)

Course 2: Certified Guideline Methodologist

Course 3: Certified Lead Guideline Developer and Chair

Participants will have the opportunity to register for interactive and engaging courses delivered by expert INGUIDE instructors.

The in‑person format allows participants to engage directly with experts and peers from around the world.

Conference venue

Centre (KLCC) is located at Kuala Lumpur City Centre, 50088 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

It is situated in the heart of the city next to the PETRONAS Twin Towers and the 50-acre KLCC Park.

  • Address: Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur City Centre, 50088 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 
  • Location: Situated within the KLCC precinct. 
  • Access: Easily accessible via a 1.7 km covered pedestrian walkway from surrounding areas. 

Travel and transport

Parking: 
Available at the Centre’s basement, next to Menara ExxonMobil, Mandarin Oriental, and Suria KLCC.

Taxis:   

Visitors may use taxi e-hailing services such as Grab to get to and around the centre of KL. If you are using Grab, be sure to key in “KL Convention Centre – Main Entrance” as your destination.

The drop-off point for e-hailing vehicles is located at the Main Entrance of the Centre facing Jalan Pinang.

Registering as a Conference Presenter

The designated presenter of each accepted abstract must register for the conference and pay the applicable registration fee. 

To ensure fairness and encourage broad participation, we will be requesting that there is a maximum of two presentations by the same delegate at the conference within the concurrent program.

Conference registration fees

For GIN2026, we have aligned the conference registration fees with GIN’s membership categories to ensure clarity, consistency and fairness.

In many cases, the total cost of becoming a GIN member and registering at the member conference rate is lower than paying the non-member fee.

We therefore encourage prospective attendees to compare both options, as joining GIN as a member may offer immediate savings as well as access to valuable ongoing professional benefits.

Conference and Travel Grants

GIN is committed to ensuring that our upcoming conference is as inclusive and accessible as possible—because participation, networking, and learning should have no borders.

To support this, we’re offering Conference and Travel Grants for members from Low- and Upper-Middle-Income Countries (LMICs and UMICs). These grants help toward registration, travel, and accommodation costs, making it easier for you to join us in shaping the future of guideline development.

Celebrating success at GIN2025

In 2025, the GIN conference was held in Geneva, Switzerland.

The conference theme was Innovation and Partnerships for Health in All Policies.

The conference was attended by over 500 delegates from 48 countries, who enjoyed a busy programme that featured 479 abstracts!
